Operations VP to Laholm, Sweden

About the position

The main responsibility for the Operations VP is to develop and drive a world-class manufacturing unit in Laholm, Sweden. You will make sure that we produce our products according to plan and specification.

You will be responsible for driving the operating excellence program and continuously developing our co-workers and the organization’s capability. Furthermore, you will secure “zero tolerance” in safety performance and minimizing environmental impact.

Under the responsibility of the VP Operations are included Production, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, Sourcing and Supply Chain as well as Finance, HR, and Admin services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Motivate and develop the organization
  • Implement best practices and use of known quality and improvement tools.
  • Strategy implementation and target break downs
  • Leadership improvements
  • Maintain a correct safety level and a clean and well-organized environment.
  • Project excellence
  • Budget, cost control plans and cost improvements

You will be part of the Operations management team and report to our COO.

We are looking for

To fit for the position as Operations VP, we believe you have extensive experience from the manufacturing environment. Furthermore, you have:

  • Supply chain and logistics background
  • International experience
  • Experience in business to business operations
  • Previously been running a manufacturing unit with a focus on high quality and short lead times
  • Fluent in Swedish and English (English is our corporate language)


You show strong co-operation and team spirit – you “work through others” and delegate. You have excellent communication skills, and you are reliable and keep promises, both internally and externally. You are efficient: you do the right things at the right time with the right speed. Furthermore, you have a positive approach to work and sees new opportunities.
