DIAB operates a twin development philosophy that covers the continuous improvement of its existing product range and the strategic development of new products to meet changing market scenarios.

To ensure that new product development does not interfere with day-to-day production, the DIAB manufacturing facilities in Italy, Sweden and the USA have their own pilot production plants complete with associated test equipment. In addition to the development of new products, these facilities allow the rapid development of special grades of existing materials to meet specific customer requirements.
