For those involved in series production, Divinycell and ProBalsa core materials can be supplied in ready-made construction kits to optimize efficiency throughout the manufacturing cycle.

With the DIAB kit concept each piece is pre-cut, shaped and formed as necessary to high tolerances, and numbered to fit exactly into its designated place in the mould. This approach can substantially reduce build times and save labor costs by eliminating the on-site shaping and cutting of flat sheets.

Further time is saved by speeding the lay-up process. The end result is a higher quality component, the virtual elimination of core material wastage and a reduction in inventory levels.

As the pioneers of this concept, DIAB has unrivalled experience in the manufacture of core kits. To further speed the kit process and improve quality, DIAB has the ability to digitize customer drawings or directly import CAD files.
