DIAB Infusion Core offers significant improvements in flow speed compared to other distribution methods. As flow speed is directly related to flow length, grooved core flow lengths between resin inlet lines can be up to 3 meters whereas with processes using mats and nets it can be as short as 0.6 meters.

Exhaustive testing with polyester, vinylester and epoxy resin systems has shown that the grooved core does not effect the mechanical properties. Independent ultra sound testing on various large moldings confirms the integrity of the skin to core bondline.
