Divinycell F recyclable, prepreg compatible sandwich core represents a significant breakthrough in core material development. In addition to offering excellent FST (fire, smoke and toxicity) properties, it also has good mechanical properties and processing characteristics.
High Performance Applications
With its combination of excellent fire properties, good mechanicals and processing characteristics, Divinycell F is ideal for a wide variety of commercial aircraft interior applications.
It more than exceeds the US and European regulatory requirements for commercial aircraft interiors and is used for such components as wall paneling, ceiling modules, luggage bins and doors/lockers. Its close cell structure makes it particularly suitable for galleys and toilets.
Divinycell F is particularly fast and easy to process and does not require edge filling.

Process Compatibility
Divinycell F is compatible with most common composite manufacturing processes. When used with most prepregs, Divinycell F does not require the use of a film adhesive. It is compatible with the most common thermoplastic and thermoset resins including the epoxies and modern phenolics used by aircraft manufacturers. In addition Divinycell F is both hot and cold formable.

The Honeycomb Substitute
Divinycell F's good mechanical properties and processing characteristics coupled with its formability and no edge filling means that it can be readily used as a cost effective, high quality substitute for honeycomb cores.

Divinycell F sandwich core can be supplied with probably the widest range of finishes available in the industry. The aim is to facilitate and speed core installation, enhance component quality / performance and to meet specific processing requirements.
Ready-Made Kits
Divinycell F can also be supplied in ready-made construction kits where each piece is pre-cut, shaped, as necessary, and numbered to fit exactly into its designated place in the mold. This substantially reduces build times, saves labor costs, improves quality and cuts waste.
