Unique experiences staying in a Birdbox with Divinycell inside

Birdbox designed by Livit, a Norwegian company, is an adventure cabin that brings you close to nature with comfort. It should give you comfort and shelter, at the same time be small and light enough to be placed in unique places with minimal footprint.
By using a sandwich structure with our Divinycell core materials the Birdbox can withstand any harsh weather conditions. Light weight design was necessary to enable both comfort & helicopter installation.

Birdbox is a prefabricated room designed to bring you close to nature. The first Birdbox was installed june 2019 and a second one earlier this year. It should give you comfort and shelter, at the same time be small and light enough to be placed in unique places with minimal footprint. Birdbox comes in two versions, Birdbox Mini and Birdbox Medi, and are delivered key ready with interior.

By using a sandwich structure with Diabs Divinycell core materials the Birdbox can withstand any harsh weather conditions. Light weight design was necessary to enable both comfort & helicopter installation. The Composite structure is produced by long term Diab partner BrödreneAA.
‘We wanted to create a product that could enable unique experiences, with minimal footprint,’ the designer explains. 
‘Built in composites to withstand any environment with no need for maintenance, Birdbox can be lifted in place with a helicopter and mounted on columns for a minimal and reversible footprint in the nature.
