Study on waste recycling of PVC based foam waste in Italy

For us at Diab sustainability is one of our top business priorities. We are working proactively on waste recycling, especially for the PVC based foam waste.

Diab Italy, with the lead of Fabiano Nart (Q-EHS Manager) has started research projects with the most important Italian universities, one of them the University of Trento with its Polymers and Composite Laboratory. Diab and University of Trento with Prof. Alessandro Pegoretti and the PhD. Haroon Mahmood has after the first month of cooperation generated an article how the PVC foam waste can be used in combination with EPDM rubber, strengthening it and improving its thermal conductivity.
