Diab has been awarded a Gold Medal by EcoVadis, placing the company among the top 5% of over 150,000+ rated companies worldwide. This marks the first time Diab has reached Gold level – a milestone that reflects the group’s strengthened sustainability performance across all core areas.
A significant step forward in sustainability
EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, evaluates companies across four key themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. By improving its performance in all areas – and particularly within Environment – Diab has advanced from Silver to Gold, underscoring its commitment to continuous improvement.
Strengthened environmental performance
The strongest progress has been within the environmental area, where the Science Based Targets have now been validated and approved for a second time. “This is the first time Diab has been awarded a Gold Medal by EcoVadis,” says Eva-Lotta Petersson, Diab Group Sustainability and EHSQ Manager. “This achievement is the result of a true team effort across the organization, and it spurs us to continue to drive improvements to reduce environmental impact, strengthen social responsibility, and it reinforces our ambition to lead with transparency and innovation.”
An important milestone on our journey
Sustainability is at the core of Diab’s strategy and daily operations. The company’s progress is made possible through the dedication and collaboration of employees across all parts of the organization – from production teams to management. “Reaching Gold with EcoVadis is an important milestone for Diab and something we are very proud of,” says Johan Arvidsson, CEO of Diab Group. “It reflects the dedication of our people worldwide and strengthens our long-term commitment to lead our industry with sustainable solutions that benefit our customers, our communities, and the planet.”
